This work aims to re-elaborate my personal experience with the musical caravan “In search of Simurg”, with the objective of reflecting on the usefulness of music as tool of knowledge between people in a multi-ethnic context. Starting from the constitutive premises of the Voci dal Mondo Choir and the project “In search of Simurg”, I will try to highlight how the musical conducting methods have encouraged the mutual knowledge through songs and how, starting from these, the members have played sociality in the co-construction of a new version of the same, in which the different sounds coexist and play together without predominating over each others.
