This research aims to determine the influence, the magnitude of the influence of the Nakhlah method responses on the ability to read Arab Gundul (plain Arabic script). The research utilizes a quantitative method. To test the validity of the data, the researcher employed the Pearson product-moment correlation test and a simple linear regression test. The sample for this research consists of 17 students from the 7th grade at Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Iman Malang. Based on the research results, the significance value obtained is 0.004 ttable (3.354 > 2.131), meaning that H0 being rejected and Ha being accepted. The influence of the Nakhlah learning method on the ability to read Arab Gundul is 42.9%, with a correlation coefficient of 0.655, categorized as strong. It can be concluded that the Nakhlah method has an impact on the ability to read Arab Gundul.
