Abstract A field experiment was conducted in one of the agricultural fields belonging to the Hashemia District in Babylon Governorate, during the year 2023 in a silty clay soil texture. In this experiment, a New Holland TD80 tractor was utilized. Two factors were studied as part of the investigation. Three speed levels (3.34, 5.98, and 7.38 km.h −1 ) represented the primary plots, while two plow types (moldboard and disc) represented the secondary plots. These two factors were the first and second factors, respectively. The percentage of slippage, practical productivity, fuel consumption and Yellow corn plant productivity were studied. The experimant was carried out using split plots in a complete random block design of three replications. The forward speed of 7.38 km.h −1 Secured enhanced findings in obtaining the lowest fuel consumption of 26.87 litres.ha −1 , the highest practical productivity of 0.27 hectares.h −1 , the lowest fuel consumption of 28.30 litres.ha-1, and the highest production of yellow corn plants, as it It reached 6.17 tons.ha-1. The moldboard plow was superior in obtaining the lowest slippage of 7.50%, the highest practical productivity of 0.20 hectares.hour −1 , and the lowest fuel consumption of 30.68 litres.ha −1 , With 5.49 tons.ha −1 of plant production, the disc plow produced the most. As for the dual interaction, there was an impact on all traits under study.
