Objective: The objective of this study was to determine the influence of strategic planning on educational quality in a Peruvian public technological institute. This is associated with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) "Quality Education". Theoretical framework: Strategic planning is a systematic process of formulating, implementing and evaluating strategies to achieve objectives, using resources and making appropriate decisions to optimize results. Educational quality is a fundamental right characterized by being equitable, relevant, pertinent, effective and efficient. Method: This was a basic study with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 74 teachers, the technique used was the survey and a questionnaire was used for each variable. The ordinal logistic regression test was used for inferential analysis, considering a significance level < 0.05. Results and Discussion: A p-value < 0.001 was found, which shows that there is a significant influence of strategic planning on educational quality, showing an influence of 41.8%. Implications of the research: Better strategic planning in the institution translates into better performance to achieve quality education in the Peruvian public higher technological institute, with an impact on the educational sector.
