This paper focuses on strategies to deter crime opportunities by using advanced science and technology in the field of crime prevention. Among CPTED strategies, mechanical monitoring and mechanical access control are closely related to the use of advanced science and technology in crime prevention activities. Domestic and foreign investigative agencies that investigate the quality of life of the people commonly say that the fear of crime damage, which is directly linked to the quality of life of the people, is the fear of street crime or intrusion crime from complete strangers. Therefore, CPTED including mechanical monitoring and mechanical access control is the most suitable strategy to reduce these fears. Therefore, this paper discusses which strategy is more effective in preventing crime, focusing on criminal theory, and searches the current status and level of science and technology, AI CCTV, autonomous flying drones, and patrol robots, which are directly related to the quality of life of the people. Finally, this paper presents the possibility of building a more advanced crime prevention system by converging these technologies.
