From the position of a positivist legal understanding, the article conducts a comparative analysis of the principles of the criminal executive legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia, enshrined in the Criminal Executive Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Executive Code of the Republic of Armenia. Recommendations for improving the current Russian legislation are formulated.
