The Digital Media Art Design major plays an important role in cultivating students' digital skills and innovative thinking. This article aims to explore the exploration and practice of digital teaching in this major, analyze the challenges and opportunities of existing teaching models, propose teaching strategies and methods that meet the needs of the digital age, and cultivate students' practical and innovative abilities through practical teaching, project driven, virtual simulation and other methods, providing feasible solutions for the development of the Digital Media Art Design major.
