Vacuum evaporation guarantees uniform coatings on large, contoured surfaces and precise thickness control for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). However, its slow processing times can affect the overall scalability of the process. This study significantly accelerates the overall co-evaporation time, reducing the deposition time of MAPbI3 by 6-fold, to just 25 min, without compromising the film quality, composition, and performance of PSCs and thereby demonstrating substantial promise for industrial applications.
