In the current period of economic development and integration, trademarks are gradually becoming an important asset not only for businesses but also for the entire country. The contribution of well-known trademarks to the economy is not small. However, the law on well-known trademark protection in Vietnam still has many limitations. The European Union is the cradle of trademarks, so there are many legal regulations that effectively protect well-known trademarks. This article focuses on analyzing the European Union's law on well-known trademark protection, thereby considering some solutions to improve Vietnamese law on well-known trademark protection.
