This audio paper examines sonic artists approaching hydrophones and geophones to advance artworks that enhance creativity and encourage awareness towards biodiversity. This research navigates theories in the philosophy of biodiversity by Michael Marder and Luce Irigaray to support the analysis of artworks by Jana Winderen and Jacob Kirkegaard, and to advance autoethnographic research on the investigation of underground and fluvial environments in Northern England.
