his research is experimental quantitative research. The aim of this research is to measure the difference in the influence of the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the level of critical thinking abilities of class IV. The instrument design applied is Pretest Posttest Control Group Design with research instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions that have been validated by expert validation. Then the results of the t-test calculations illustrated that the significance result was 0.036 < 0.05, so the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, so it can be said that both models influence students' critical thinking abilities. Descriptive data that shows that the average student score based on the critical thinking indicator for the experimental group (PjBL) is higher than that of the control group students (PBL)
