This reseach is aimed to describe how the role of a caregiver in forming professional character based on religious values, how the programs work, the approach with the students, and how the implementations inside and outside of the classroom. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods, namely research by taking an approach or searching to explore and understand a problem in detail. The results of this study show that the role of a caregiver in creating the character of students are very dominant and very complex. Starting from giving the good example, growing the discipline character, giving the habit of doing tahajud prayer, the habit of reciting the Quran at least 2 pages everyday, apply the teaching with ESQ style or SKI method (Spiritual, Creativity, Intelligent), etc, applying the learning of Quran hadith and science, always applying 5 S, namely smile, salaam, greeting, polite and goodness, the implementation of merdeka curriculum
