In the face of the global climate crisis, it is urgent to carry out actions that collaborate with the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, in order to achieve the goals set out in the Paris Agreement. In this sense, it was necessary to analyze buildings in sustainable climate-positive neighborhoods, since energy consumption contributes to 36% of total emissions, and buildings represent a significant portion of direct and indirect emissions 23, 24, so it is intended to stimulate energy efficiency and self-sufficiency of these. This article uses the case study to analyze the formal structure, spatial distribution and sustainable strategies of the housing units in the Pedra Branca-SC-BR neighborhood, based on the methodology of Brandão and Schneider. From the study, to identify the existing floor plan patterns, it was found that the units are mostly composed of three bedrooms, two and four bathrooms and toilets, as well as there is partial integration between the kitchen and service areas, the integral option is a minority. From the analysis, it is understood that corridor plants are the ones that best contribute to the sustainability and quality of the internal space. It was found that although the other configurations did not contribute directly to cross ventilation, there was a concern with environmental comfort and passive strategies.
