This study aims to determine the effect of school climate and self efficacy on student motivation. This research uses an inferential quantitative method and using questionnaire as data collection with Likert scale. The population in this study is the students of class VII, VIII, IX. Determination of the number of samples using the Raosoft Sample Size Calculator app and obtained 280 respondents. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression assisted using SPSS data processing. Hypothesis in this research is acceptable, there is an influence between school climate and self-efficacy on student motivation of SMP Negeri 2 students. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence between school climate and self-efficacy on student learning motivation with an effective donation of 54.3%, while the remaining 45.7% was influenced by other variables not yet researched by researchers
