The purpose of this study is to compare decisions made by judges in the Sidoarjo Religious Court, Palangka Raya Religious High Court, and regarding the division of joint property in divorce cases. This paper examines decisions number 2619/Pdt.G/2021/PA.Sda, number 6/Pdt.G/2020/PTA.Plk using legal research methods and case study techniques. The legal considerations used by judges in determining how to divide joint property and the resulting legal consequences are the main topics of discussion in this study. The findings show that there are variations in the way the law is applied due to the complexity of the case and the way judges interpret the law. It is hoped that the results of this study can advance Indonesian family law, especially with regard to the allocation of joint property.
