Designing sustainable buildings is crucial for reducing impacts throughout their lifecycle. This study evaluated the environmental impact of construction systems, comparing structural masonry with ceramic blocks and rammed earth in social housing. Materials were quantified in the pre-operation and operation phases. Results indicate that the pre-operation phase is more relevant for both systems. The comparison revealed that rammed earth has 1.68 times lower impacts than masonry. These findings contribute to the national literature on Life Cycle Assessment in construction, aiding in professional and academic decision-making.
