Starting from the context of family education, this study explores the factors affecting children's reading strategies in order to improve children's reading ability and interest. Firstly, through questionnaire survey and interview, a large number of data about family education environment, parents' educational concept and children's reading behavior were collected. Through the analysis of the data, it is found that whether the family education environment is good or not, parents' educational attitude and the way they interact with children will affect children's reading strategies. In addition, children's reading strategies directly affect the cultivation of their reading ability and the formation of their reading interest. The results show that parents and family education environment play a crucial role in the formation of children's reading strategies. Therefore, optimizing the family education environment and guiding parents to adopt correct educational attitudes and interactive ways can effectively enhance children's reading interest and ability, which is of great significance for children's future learning and growth.
