The research aims to identify universal and specific lexico-phraseological means of representing Russian and British value systems, determined by their denotative correspondence. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the latest publicistic texts (the early 21st century) served as the source of factual material, which makes it possible to identify, systematize, and describe previously unexplored linguistic material. For the first time, a classification of value representatives based on their denotative correspondence, previously developed by the authors based on the Russian language, is used in a comparative study. As a result, it was found that the proposed multifaceted classification of value representatives is invariant for different linguocultures. The developed classification of representatives of material values allowed the researchers to identify both universal and specific features in the value-based linguistic worldviews of Russian and British linguocultures. This specificity is due to the state structure, political system, history, religion, and climatic conditions of the two countries, which, at the language level, is manifested in the different quantitative composition and content of the identified and described thematic groups.
