The article is devoted to the problem of negative impact on the environmental situation in connection with the development of domestic tourism. Many popular tourist destinations are not classified as specially protected natural areas. It is necessary to work out in detail the issues of environmental obligations and legal responsibility for offenses against the subjects of tourism activities in Russia.
