This research is motivated by the lack of literacy level, the selection of learning methods is also tailored to the needs of students by using the SQ3R learning method based on Pop-Up Book. This study aims to determine the effect of SQ3R learning method based on Pop-Up Book on students' reading comprehension ability in class IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Krembung. The population of fourth grade students with a total of 25 people. The research method used is quantitative, one-group pretest-posttest design, data collection techniques pretest and posttest test questions. The data analysis technique of normality test and paired sample test shows 0.000 <0.05, so it can be stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence on the learning method Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R) based on pop-up book on the reading comprehension ability of elementary school students.
