The current developments, with the arrival of the digital era or the era of industrial revolution 4.0, will definitely have positive and negative impacts in the world of education. Especially regarding learning, Islamic education also continues to experience continuous development and change. This research is library research and the nature of this research is descriptiveanalytical. This research uses a library research approach, namely the data collection method through library sources. The results of this research are that technological results that can be utilized in learning include radio, television, film, computers, cellphones, and so on. The use of technology in Islamic education learning design, for example internet-based learning through the use of e-learning, websites, email, mailing lists, web blogs, multimedia, audio visuals, Google classroom, video conferencing, and so on. The existence of this technology clearly plays a very important role in Islamic education.
