Introduction to the Book "Zahr Al-Akam fi Al-Amthal wa Al-Hikam" by Abu Al-Hasan Al-Yusi (1102 AH / 1690 AD) and its Scientific Value

The study selected one of the literary works, "Zahr Al-Akam fi Al-Amthal wa Al-Hikam" by Abu Al-Hasan Al-Yusi, to examine its scientific value. It focused on introducing the book both in form and content, and presented the most prominent previous works that are similar in their subjects. Additionally, the research included an analysis of the book's title as given by the author, discussing the extent to which the title aligns with the content. In other words, the study aimed to determine whether the title matched the plan outlined by Al-Yusi and to what extent he adhered to it. Furthermore, the study considered how later sources have defined this book by examining the opinions of subsequent authors about it. Accordingly, the research was divided into three sections: the first dealt with previous works, the second provided a general and comprehensive introduction to the book, and the third focused on highlighting the scientific value of the book.
