This descriptive study examines the implementation of HRM practices in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in RIICO industrial areas in Neemrana and Jaipur. While in large organizations, human resource management practices are well established in a formal way, they tend to be informal in SMEs. Despite the significance of HRM practices for growth, there is a lack of consistent implementation in SMEs. The study utilizes a case method approach, analyzing data from 28 SMEs, to gain insights into the perceptions of HR professionals responsible for implementing HRM practices. The findings of this study can serve as a valuable resource for developing future guidelines and recommendations for HR practices in SMEs.
