Looking for permanent universal values, on which you can build a world order, is a crucial task for a modern human. It seems that axiological education does not have anticipated effects and a majority of society lacks some reflection about its own values as a foundation and a criterion for a demeanour. Diversity in a perception and understanding of values is a key aspect of post-modern educational actions in the context of upbringing for peace. The present text, referencing results of a research carried amongst students of preschool and elementary school pedagogy, has a purpose to be a part of a discussion about educational aspects of preparing a teacher to fulfil a process of raising a child for peace.
