The Historical Evolution of the Art of Singing

Singing art, as an ancient and unique art form, has a long history. This paper starts from the origin and development of ancient singing art, comparing the singing art of Egypt, Greece, Rome and other countries, as well as the origin and development of ancient Chinese singing art. Then, the paper describes the transformation of singing art in the Middle Ages, especially the influence of religion on singing art, and the development of singing art in the Renaissance.
