Based on Lacan's gaze theory and modern feminist thought, this article analyzes the Chinese film "The Disappearing She", placing women in the perspective of others' gaze, to explore the strengthening of female consciousness and how women can counter gaze, and contribute to the establishment of new era women, the rational handling of gender relations, and the promotion of gender equality.
