Some features of the digitalization of the healthcare sector are considered, which makes it possible to guarantee the timeliness, personalization, manufacturability and safety of medical care, as well as to increase the efficiency of using the healthcare resource base. The analysis of the legislator’s initiatives has been carried out, which, taking into account the peculiarities of the “digital contour”, will significantly increase the availability of medical care for citizens in remote settlements by 2025, and optimize the work of medical institutions providing primary health care. The further deepening of the digital transformation of the healthcare sector is justified; the features of the organization of the provision of medical services by geographically separate units, including the peculiarities of the legal status of remote workers, are considered.
