The Manifestation of Irish National Identity in the Texts of William B. Yeats’ Poems

The article analyses the manifestation of national consciousness as one of the fundamental in the works of Irish poet W.B. Yeats. On the example of selected works of the author, the focus of which are various objects of Irish cultural and historical development, the use of lexical and stylistic techniques in the expression of value ethno-cultural components for the formation of national consciousness in the region is considered. The article considers the historical and political reasons of the contemporary period of the poet, which influenced the formation of the author and his inclusion in the list of figures who influenced the revival of the national patriotic movement in Ireland from the end of the XIX century to the present moment. For the research of the material of the article, the works of many famous domestic and foreign figures of humanitarian sciences were used. The relevance of the material of this article lies in the insufficiency of studying the manifestation of national consciousness in the poetry of William. B. Yates.
