In the contemporary global economy, Islamic finance and economics are gaining popularity, and the International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Studies (IJISEF) has emerged as an important journal in this field. IJISEF has developed into a significant forum for research discussions on Islamic finance and economics since its establishment in 2015 by the Centre of Political Economic and Social Research (PESA) in collaboration with the Research Centre for Islamic Economics and Finance (RECISEF). Examining the impact and influence of journals like IJISEF is essential, given the dynamic nature of the academic world. Using bibliometric research, this paper examines the intricate landscape of IJISEF's contributions and impact. The research covers a nine-year period from the publication of the journal's first issue in 2015 to September 29, 2023, aiming to detect noteworthy trends within its pages. A thorough analysis of 173 publications was conducted using statistical software such as Microsoft Excel. This in-depth examination sheds light on the evolution of IJISEF and its expanding global impact within the realm of Islamic economics and finance. The bibliometric study's findings indicate that the journal's citations are on the rise, contrasting with the number of issues and publications. Turkey, the country of origin of the publication, remains prominent, although other nations also contribute significantly. Countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Libya, and others are actively involved in this expanding trend. It was also suggested to increase the number of issues and translate the English abstracts into other languages, such as Turkish.
