Prospects for the Execution of Sentences Not Related to the Isolation of Convicts From Society in Relation to Persons Without a Fixed Place of Residence in the Context of the Introduction of Probation in the Russian Federation

The study analyzes certain provisions of Federal Law No. 10-FZ dated February 6, 2023 «On Probation in the Russian Federation» in order to assess the prospects for the execution of sentences without isolating convicts from society in relation to persons without a fixed place of residence. Based on the results of the analysis, a hypothesis has been formulated about the high potential of probation activities in achieving the goals of penal enforcement legislation in relation to this category of convicts. In addition, certain imperfections of legal regulation, possible conflicts of the Federal Law «On Probation in the Russian Federation» were found, and ways to eliminate them were proposed.
