The article examines communicative competence as one of the key aspects of effective pedagogical activity in a creative university, based on a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities of the teacher. This study is based on an analysis of literature and research works on the topic “Communicative Competence,” as well as regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation in the field of higher education and digitalization. A structure of communicative competence of teachers of art and cultural institutes in the context of the digital transformation of Russian education is proposed.
