Motivation has a pivotal role in shaping employee performance and organizational success. Motivated employees are more productive, achieving goals, and meeting deadlines efficiently, and employee performance is the outcome attained by the worker in finishing the tasks given to them by the organization. This paper aims to study the impact of employee motivation on employee performance, particularly highlighting the employees of the telecommunication sectors in Afghanistan. This study administered qualitative and quantitative research techniques, with a sample size of 316 staff at different levels of management in the telecommunication sectors of Afghanistan. The data was collected through the structured questionnaire, which used SPSS version 25 for the analysis. Also, the study used descriptive, correlation, and regression analysis to analyze collected data. The finding showed that work motivation has a positive impact on employee performance. Good work motivation increases employee performance, and employees perform and improve well if they are motivated by their supervisor in the organization.
