The article examines modern features of organizing international cooperation in combating crimes related to drug trafficking in Latin America and the Caribbean. The purpose of the work is to analyze the current situation in the field of drug crime in the analyzed region, as well as the main methods of international cooperation and counteraction. Research methods: analysis and comparative legal research of national legislation, conventions and treaties, draft international documents, scientific articles and other sources, as well as a statistical method for bringing quantitative and qualitative indicators of crime. Conclusion: in the Latin American region, both at the national and regional levels, a policy is being pursued to combat crime in the field of drug trafficking, and, despite the high crime rates at the moment, the active work of government bodies and supranational associations in this area is obvious. The practical significance lies in the fact that during the preparation the most modern legal and doctrinal sources in the original language were studied and introduced into scientific circulation.
