Russian Law as a Means of Protection of Traditional Values

The article reviews problems of consolidation and protection of traditional values by Russian law. Special attention is paid to protection of human rights and freedoms, legal position of an individual in the society. The author focuses on the need for preservation of spiritual and moral values, traditions in Russian law, creation of legal mechanisms that ensure protection of the contemporary society from destructive processes.
