This scientific article examines the relationship between technological sover-eignty and the system for monitoring state policy, discussing their significance for effective gov-ernance. It is noted that artificial intelligence has reached its peak of popularity and is at the stage of stabilization. For its further development, it is necessary to address issues of the regu-latory framework and investment in AI-based products and fundamental technologies. For many states, the creation of a national intelligent system for monitoring state policy, which collects, analyzes, and processes data on socio-economic processes, is an important task. Particular at-tention is paid to the relationship between technological sovereignty and the monitoring system. Technological sovereignty ensures independence and control over technologies, strengthening national security and sustainability. The creation of a national system for monitoring state policy in the context of technological sovereignty is an important step towards effective governance and the adoption of informed state decisions.
