Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is often associated with heightened anxiety levels, particularly in novel or unpredictable environments. Virtual Reality (VR) offers a promising tool for addressing anxiety through controlled, immersive environments. This paper explores the application of VR as a therapeutic tool to reduce anxiety in individuals with autism. We discuss the design and implementation of various VR environments, the methodologies employed, and the results obtained from clinical trials. Key findings include significant anxiety reduction, increased engagement, and positive feedback from both participants and caregivers.
