Although AI has been a subject of interest since the 1950s and has shown potential in improving decision-making and productivity, its integration into SCM is relatively recent.The review investigates both the challenges and opportunities associated with integrating AI into automotive supply chain. It outlines benefits such as enhanced efficiency, better decision-making, and increased resilience, while also addressing limitations including potential biases and the necessity for human oversight. By supporting a deeper understanding of AI’s role in enhancing supply chain management and resilience, the review provides insights into how AI can contribute to more intelligent and resilient supply chains. It also suggests areas for future research to advance the field further.
