The article presents a detailed analysis of the efficiency indicators of freight transportation carried out for the organization of logistics in the auto-technical support (ATS) domain of a hypothetical army. As a result of the analysis, the current state of military vehicle freight transportation is assessed by taking into account factors such as the operational characteristics of the troops, their dislocation conditions, supply challenges, geographical features of the area, and various technical-economic influences. The article explores comprehensive approaches to increasing efficiency within the ATS system and justifies the necessity of implementing new, effective evaluation methods. Furthermore, the study identifies promising directions for optimizing freight transportation and highlights the role of proposed innovations in enhancing the army’s operational support capabilities. The research also offers well-grounded proposals for the development of new methodologies applicable to the ATS domain.
