Expanding primary care infrastructure through pharmacy collaboration has the potential to create a more accessible and cost-effective health care system. Physicians delegate medication management services to pharmacists via collaborative practice agreements (CPAs). Interprofessional practice (IPP) enables team-based care and holistic patient care. Policy recommendations are offered to expand primary care pharmacy collaboration.
