It is preferable to carry out the teaching of the World around Us, Science and Social Studies and Physical and Health Education in a natural and social environment. That way, lower grade students can observe, notice, single out, describe, measure, compare the data; they can classify and evaluate it, draw conclusions, plan reporting and further research. They simultaneously physically engage and activate their bodies while spending time in such an environment, they get used to moving and they learn about the importance of the physical activities and their influence on health. The goal of this research was the examination of school teachers' attitudes towards the environmental elements - whether and to what extent environmental elements offer possibilities for the realization of the content of the examined school subjects. The relation between the place where the school is located and the attitudes towards the possibilities given by the environmental elements was examined in order to get to these indicators. The attitudes were examined by using a close five-point Likert scale. Contingency tables, a chi-squared test and the contingency coefficient were used to process the data. The obtained results point to the existence of the positive relation between the natural conditions of the local environment and the teachers' attitudes that it offers excellent conditions for the realization of the observed contents. There is, also, a positive relation between the institutions and the establishments in the social environment and the teachers' attitudes that the formerly mentioned offer beneficial conditions for the realization of the teaching of the observed school subjects.
