In this article the factors influencing the competitiveness of a construction enterprise have been studied, identified, and analyzed. The necessity of identifying and evaluating the factors influencing competitiveness, as well as developing a strategy for increasing competitiveness individually for each enterprise, has been substantiated. A classification of competitiveness factors has been presented, dividing all factors into two groups: external and internal factors. It has been established that there is no single universally accepted methodology for determining the level of competitiveness of construction enterprises, and that the choice should be based on the identified shortcomings in the enterprise’s activities and the state of the external environment. Directions for increasing competitive advantages are proposed.
