Abstract

The performance of elite sugarcane genotypes was assessed for cane yield and juice quality parameter in plant CCS-20.05 t/ha) which was found significantly superior over the standards Co 86032 (Cane yield-116.38 t/ha; CCS-15.85 t/ha) for cane yield and sugar yield in a pooled analysis. With this available database, the CoVSI 18121 genotype has been accepted for the pre release in the Research Review Committee (RRC) meeting of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra State and Joint AGRESCO Meeting of four Agricultural Universities (SAU’s) in Maharashtra for the commercial cultivation in the planting seasons in Suru, Preseason and Adsali in the State for all the agro climatic regions.
