In the conditions of modern digital transformation of the economy, innovative technological solutions are actively developed and implemented, which have a significant impact on various sectors of the financial market. One of the most significant directions of influence is the investment sphere, where there is a radical restructuring of traditional models of interaction between market participants. new horizons of opportunities are opening up. In this regard, there is a need to analyze current approaches to the choice of investment instruments that ensure the achievement of long-term goals in investment activities. One of the promising innovative tools is digital financial assets (DFAs), which are a relatively new segment of the financial market. Despite the limited distribution to date, the DFA market is showing steady growth due to the active entry of large players and the emergence of offers focused on the mass investor. This creates the prerequisites for the formation of interest in DFAs as a potential type of investment assets. The presented paper will consider the key characteristics of DFAs, their advantages and risks, as well as analyze the prospects for further development of this market segment.
