Abstract

Mature larvae of two species from the genus Austrelmis Brown, 1984 and one species from the genus Macrelmis Motschulsky, 1860 are described and illustrated for the first time: A. argentinensis Manzo et Archangelsky, 2015, A. tafi Manzo et Archangelsky, 2015, and M. aequalis (Hinton, 1937). A comparison of the larvae of these species with the described larvae of other species from their respective genera is provided. Additionally, information on the habitat and distribution of the examined species is included.
