This article considers the Russian language not simply as a means of communication, but as a carrier of a unique civilizational code that accumulates historical experience, cultural values and mental characteristics of the nation. Modern globalization processes, characterized by the dominance of the English-speaking space, as well as the spread of simplified language models, pose a threat to the linguistic identity of the Russian Federa-tion. And it is language policy that can act as a powerful tool of resistance and creation, consolidating society in the conditions of foreign policy instability. Educational policy, media space and language expertise are de-signed to promote the formation of civilizational identity through the development of linguistic literacy of the population, popularization of cultural codes and control over the use of key concepts in public discourse. The author of the article pays special attention to the role of political and media discourse in consolidating identity through the use of archetypal linguistic constructions referring to a common past and historical continuity. In the context of digitalization of language and the development of artificial intelligence, attention is focused on the need to create domestic language technologies that take into account the richness and depth of Russian vo-cabulary and grammar in order to avoid the substitution of cultural meanings.
