The growing availability of mobile internet technologies has increased the dangers that users face regarding privacy and information security, especially for location-aware services. This paper presents a solution in the form of a location-based access control (LBAC) technique, which seeks to increase privacy by controlling data access according to a user's position. The system incorporates geofencing, contextual awareness, and user-defined policies so that sensitive or private data is only available under certain spatial conditions. The framework also posits enforcement of real-time and adaptive decision-making, which helps resolve some problems like spoofing resistance, inter-policy conflicts, and scalability issues in highly congested areas. A prototype implementation and simulation showed the efficacy of LBAC in sustaining user interaction with mobile devices while at the same time minimizing the fu-l exposure of sensitive information. The findings indicate the feasibility of location-based restrictive measures as an important component in the safety of mobile environments as well as in the enhancement of privacy protection.
