The Heart of 'Anak Malaysia' program is one of the practical da'wah programs that must be attended by all Semester 6 students majoring in Diploma in Islamic Da'wah at the Sabah Institute of Da'wah and Islamic Studies (IPDAS), Keningau, Sabah. This program is also a form of da'wah implementation that needs to be applied by students after learning the theory in a lecture session. This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the appropriate da'wah approach to be used in the da'wah practice program, looking at the challenges faced during the da'wah practice program as well as suggestions for improvement in the da'wah practice program. This study uses a qualitative methodology through participation, observation, library research and interviews. The findings of this study found five forms of da'wah implementation that are suitable to be implemented in Kampung Mesilou, Kundasang, namely through the Funeral Management Course, Slaughter Course, Jom Mengaji Program, Smart Islamic Art Program and Kem Bestari Solat Program (Series I & Series II). Meanwhile, the challenges faced in carrying out da'wah include a low level of ethical appreciation, limited programme equipment and services, inappropriate timing, villagers on the verge of modernization and challenging village geography. Thus, the implementation of this da'wah can be used as a guide and reference for preachers in continuing Islamic teachings in the future.
