Rapid changes of technology all over the world transformed and carried education into digital system, in which multimedia like videos were widely used. This experimental action research was conducted on the effectiveness of Instructor A’s videos as catalyst for General Mathematics success of seventy-one (71) SHS students of Teofilo V. Fernandez National High School (TVFNHS) for the 1st semester of the School Year 2024-2025; who were selected using total population sampling technique. A 50-item highly reliable and validated pretest/posttest was administered to the two (2) groups of respondents (experimental and control), and data were analyzed using mean (𝑥̅), standard deviation (sd), and t test for independent samples. Findings revealed that there was no significant difference in the pretest mean scores of the experimental (𝑥̅ = 10.14, 𝑠𝑑 = 4.24) and control (𝑥̅ = 10.22, 𝑠𝑑 = 3.83) group with computed t value of -0.083 (p=0.934); there was a significant difference in the posttest mean scores of the experimental (𝑥̅ = 35.86, 𝑠𝑑 = 5.57) and control (𝑥̅ = 22.39, 𝑠𝑑 = 7.03) group with the computed t value of 8.931 (p=0.000); and there was a significant difference in the mean score increase from pretest to posttest of the experimental (𝑥̅ = 25.71, 𝑠𝑑 = 6.76) and control (𝑥̅ = 12.17, 𝑠𝑑 = 6.86) with the computed t value of 8.380 (p=0.000). Differences obtained during the posttest clearly indicated the effectiveness of exposing the students to Instructor A’s videos. Implications of this study are for wider use of these materials in teaching, and development of more videos for educators and students in the Philippines.
