The article examines the value orientations and life meanings of the personality of primary school teachers as a hierarchically organized component of self-awareness that determine the nature of their professional activities and relationships with other subjects of primary education. The article discusses the features of value orientations, their correspondence to traditional Russian values, presents the results of an empirical study of the life meanings and socio-psychological attitudes of primary school teachers, their relationship with the activity of a life position in solving problems of pedagogical interaction.
