Abstract

This research aims to describe the analysis of feminism in the literary work of the drama “Putri Hijau”. In this study, a descriptive qualitative research method with a feminist literary studies approach was used. Feminist literary studies open up insights into how representations of women are constructed in a culture influenced by patriarchal norms, as well as how gender power is reproduced or challenged in narratives. Through a more in-depth study, this research highlights the complex dynamics of women's lives in fighting for identity and freedom amidst constraining social and cultural pressures. Thus, this study provides an in-depth understanding of the role and representation of women in drama literature and its relevance in a feminist context.
